Copper naturally develops a rich, earthy patina over time — a living finish that many of our customers cherish. Sometimes we intentionally create patinas that result in colours ranging from deep black and soft brown to shades of green and blue. With a special technique, we can also achieve dark red, metallic purple, blue, or even a rainbow-like effect. If you wish to keep these finishes for as long as possible, avoid polishing, as this will remove the colours. If you prefer a brighter shine, a gentle polish with a jewellery cloth will restore the original copper glow. On each product page, we describe the specific finish applied so you can care for your piece accordingly. Keep your copper jewellery dry and store it separately to prevent scratches and slow oxidation. Sea-glass elements need no special care beyond occasional cleaning with mild soapy water.
