This handmade copper necklace admires the power of the ocean and the significance of those gracious beautiful sea creatures that are dwelling it. Humpback whales play a very important role not only in our oceans’ balanced ecosystem but the oxygen production for the whole planet. By wearing this jewellery you make a statement and spread the message of protecting our precious inheritance – the Earth.
This neckcuff is made entirely by hand with traditional metalsmithing techniques and handtools. We finished the surface of the centerpiece with a touch of dark patina. Due to copper’s nature the colour of the necklace will age, chaning slowly by time. If you wish to make the surface more shiny and even, you can use the polishing cloth. When you use the polishing cloth, please make sure to give a support to the part you are polishing, by placing your other hand underneath, to prevent the metal from bending.
